Competition in brief: Take a derelict building in the downtown core and transform it into a proposed new use, or, in other words, give it a “facelift”.
What was once a successful family furniture business has, over the years, been one nightclub after another. And with each new attempt at use, the building has fallen further and further into disrepair. By proposing a mixed use concept of retail at ground floor and apartments above, the goal is to reclaim a once beautiful building and give it new life in the community.
